Job summary
A specialist aviation recruitment agency is seeking a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer in Stevenage for a contract role. This position requires conducting quality audits and maintaining supplier standards to ensure compliance with specifications. Applicants should be trained auditors with AS9100 standards, preferably with an HNC/HND in Engineering and solid experience in quality assurance within mechanical or manufacturing sectors. This contract offers £40-£45 per hour, with significant responsibilities in quality improvement and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- Trained auditor to AS9100 is essential.
- Experienced in conducting Quality Audits and surveillance.
- Familiarity with GD&T and problem-solving methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC).
Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled Quality Assurance audits at suppliers.
- Conduct verification of products to ensure quality standards.
- Document non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are taken.
