A leading Distribution and Logistics firm in Stoke are requiring an experienced Contracts Manager to be responsible for delivering key projects to drive sustainable and progressive change into their customers operation.
This role requires someone who has a career history that demonstrates success in a similar position and has a strong understanding of commercial contracts, SLAs and KPIs. The ability to identify and mitigate contractual risk (e.g., service penalties or indemnities). Knowledge of transport regulations and logistics contract law.
Someone who has experience or working as a partner with a customer in their own site and leading a team that is responsible for all transport functions within the customer's site.
An in-depth knowledge of logistics operations (HGV fleet, warehousing,). Managing the contract operations, with the ability to translate contractual commitments into operational delivery on a daily, weekly or long-term basis.
You must be competent with transport management systems (TMS), fleet tracking and ERP platforms.
