About the Firm

Our client is a long-established and highly respected law firm based in Newbury, Berkshire, known for delivering high-quality legal services to a prestigious client base. Due to continued growth, the firm is now looking to appoint a Senior Litigation Solicitor

atSenior Associate or Partner levelto strengthen its Dispute Resolution team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Complex Litigation Matters:Handle a broad range of contentious work, providing strategic legal advice and representation across commercial and civil disputes to include commercial property litigation
• Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor junior fee earners and support staff, including a dedicated Paralegal/Secretary, fostering a collaborative team environment
• Client Relationship Management:Maintain and develop strong relationships with the firm’s existing client base, while actively seeking opportunities for new business
• Strategic Contribution:Play an integral role in shaping the future direction of the team and the wider firm through active involvement in business development and strategic planning

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales):Minimum of 10 years’ PQE with a solid track record in litigation
• Technical Excellence:Proven experience handling complex disputes, preferably including commercial litigation
• Leadership Capability:Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
• Commercial Acumen:A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to drive business development initiatives
• Strategic Mindset:Comfortable contributing to firmwide strategic and growth discussions
