As a Marketplace Analyst within the Marketplace Success team, you will play a crucial role in balancing supply and demand in our marketplace. This is a dynamic role that blends analytical rigor with a proactive approach to automation and smart execution. You will be the owner of the Coverage (share of filled hours) metric for the UK market and will therefore play an integral part in delivering the 2025 budget. This role requires a curious mind, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Coverage owner: Be on top of the marketplace dynamics to improve key drivers of coverage, and work on creative solutions to increase filled hours on the platform.
Automation Champion: Identify manual, repetitive tasks and design and implement automation solutions using scripting languages (e.g., Python), workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier), or integrations with existing systems (e.g. Salesforce and platform data).
Smart Execution: Hypothesis, test and implement targeted interventions, marketing campaigns, and process improvements based on data analysis and business understanding. Think of improving worker re-activation campaigns, initiatives to improve client platform behavior and more.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and Account Management to understand their needs and contribute to strategic initiatives.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and troubleshoot operational issues, develop and implement effective solutions.
Data-Driven Insights: Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret large datasets using tools like SQL and data visualization platforms (Looker) to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
You are a part of the Marketplace Success team, whose goal it is to increase filled hours on the Temper platform. The other team members are working from Amsterdam, focussing on the Dutch market. Because this role’s focus is on the UK market, you are based in the UK office located in London (Shoreditch) at least two days per week.

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues into manageable components.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to learn and improve.
Startup mindset. Willingness to be hands-on with problems and quickly iterate on potential solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Fluency in English

Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with scripting languages for automation (preferably Python).
Experience with automation projects, for instance, building chatbots, email marketing automation or anything similar.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketing Cloud).
