Fire and Security Operative will include:

1. Carrying out the servicing, remedial works, and installation of fire alarms, extinguishers, and security systems, including warden call
2. Maintaining systems such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire shutters, and curtains to ensure safe and compliant properties
3. Resolving problems or initiating solutions, and keeping customers informed
4. Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and stocks are replenished as needed

• Candidates must be qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ 3 in a relevant trade; FIA industry standard qualifications, Electrical 18th Edition wiring regulations, Safe Isolation, Small Works Certificate, or currently undertaking these qualifications. Original certification proof is required at interview; copies and CSCS cards are not accepted.
• Experience in a similar fire and security role
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• Ability to analyze and diagnose problems and implement solutions
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid UK driving licence required for driving company vehicles

• Salary: £40,386 plus an annual policy allowance of £1,146, increasing after 12 months to £42,512 plus £1,207, subject to performance
