Job summary
A facilities management company is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Washington, Tyne and Wear. The role involves electrical maintenance and building services for a large estate. Required qualifications include Level 3 Electrical engineering and 18th edition certification. Competitive salary of £42,500 PA for a Monday to Friday schedule.
Qualifications
- Must have an 18th edition certification.
- Ideally hold a JIB Gold card.
- Experience with compliance and PPM paperwork required.
Responsibilities
- Complete building services / electrical maintenance tasks.
- Undertake planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Respond to client requests promptly.

Position: Maintenance Electrician

We are recruiting for a maintenance electrician to join a facilities team in the Washington area providing building services maintenance to a large scale estate. Monday to Friday days, 40 hours per week. Paying £42,500 PA.
- Completing building services / electrical maintenance
- To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems
- BMS operation
- General HVAC and mechanical building services maintenance
- To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements
- To respond to client requests, providing a professional and timely service
- Compliance checks and associated documentation
- Small works and lifecycle refurbishment
- Recognised professional Electrical engineering qualification, Level 3
- 18th edition
- AM2
- Ideally JIB Gold card (but not essential)
- Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
- Must be presentable, articulate with a sound understanding of compliance and PPM paperwork and records
- Familiar with Facilities Management Sector
- May be required to clear a security check
