We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator to join to join our marketing team and drive measurable growth across all marketing channels. You’ll be a proven marketing all-rounder with a clear speciality, whether in performance marketing, video production, or another relevant discipline, and have the initiative and strategic insight to take our marketing performance to the next level.

This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape West Nautical’s marketing output, working closely with our UK and international teams. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, premium brand environment and is ready to take ownership of ambitious marketing plans.

You will report directly to the Head of Marketing and support the wider team, across the UK and abroad.

The Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the following tasks, as well as other duties as directed by their line manager in the pursuit of their role:

Job specification:

• Take ownership of some digital and content marketing strategies, identifying new opportunities to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
• Take ownership of some digital marketing campaigns under the guidance of the Head of Marketing.
• Lead on marketing performance tracking—monitoring KPIs and optimising campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, and other platforms.
• Develop and execute paid search campaigns.
• Assist the company Head of Marketing in production art working assignments as required.
• Assist with Video editing for all platforms.
• Lead website updates, audits, and SEO improvements.
• Monitoring Google Analytics for spikes in traffic.
• Publishing news features to the West Nautical website.
• Ad hoc proofing i.e. any Mailchimp emails.
• Adding yachts to the website
• Assisting with proposals.
• Assist with photography and image search and selections.
• Assist with custom yacht itineraries.
• Assistant with various business tasks – Client profiling & lead research etc.
• Work to simple design, artwork production, and marketing briefs as required.
• Liaison with printers, suppliers on new orders, processing admin, and organising deliveries.
• Other tasks and special assignments as required.

Person specification:

• At least 3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally in a B2C or luxury brand environment.
• Strong experience in one of the following: performance marketing, video editing/content production, or social media strategy.
• Comfortable using marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, etc.).
• Fluent English speaker – other languages are a bonus.
• Live within a 30-minute commute from Newcastle.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Someone who wants career progression and to establish longevity within the company.
• Experience and aptitude in customer service.
• High levels of computer literacy.
• You will be hard-working and will need a high degree of accuracy.
• You should be able to summarise complex issues in a reader friendly style.
• You should be able to take responsibility for your work output.
• Experience of working in a 24/7 working environment and has flexibility to attend work events out of office hours and ability to travel for short periods with suitable notice period.
• Experience with working with tight deadlines, short turnarounds for work and an exceptional level of detail.
• Able and willing to adapt to demands and changes in the workplace.
• Ideally you will have relevant experience for this role, but training and support is given to candidates who we believe have the potential to succeed.
• Proven longevity in previous roles.
