You will bring the Magical World of Tea to life across our social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube & Pinterest) by creating engaging, joyful, authentic content that celebrates our community, our products, and our purpose.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and camera-confident Social Media Content Creator & Brand Ambassador to join our Digital team. In this role, you will create social-first content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube, travelling to stores & events regularly to capture behind-the-scenes magic.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Brand Studio Team to produce stills, videos, reactive trend content, and fun social stories. Your mission is to grow our audience, inspire our community, and amplify what makes Bird & Blend special.
Key Responsibilities
🎥 Content Creation & Storytelling
- Capture, film & photograph social-first content in stores, at events, and at HQ.
- Be a visible, confident on-camera brand ambassador—hosting content, speaking to the community, and showcasing products with warmth and personality.
- Create fun and educational content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit quick-turnaround reactive content in response to trends, cultural moments, and product launches.
- Develop engaging educational content that teaches fans about our blends, mixology techniques, seasonal products & behind-the-scenes stories.
- Produce regular “on the road” content from store visits, highlighting our amazing teams, customers & local moments.
📅 Social Media Planning
- Own the Organic Social content calendar, ensuring a consistent stream of high-quality, joyful content.
- Translate brand campaigns into social-ready ideas that feel authentic, fun, and platform-native.
- Partner with the Brand Studio team to brief and collaborate on creative assets and scheduling.
💬 Community Engagement
- Engage with fans in comments, DMs, Lives & community groups, representing our tone of voice warmly and authentically.
- Support our Brew SocieTEA Facebook community by sharing updates, prompts, and delight moments.
- Run our instagram Broadcast Channel ‘Backstage Brew’.
- Work closely with CX to make sure community questions are answered quickly and helpfully.
- Contribute to the TikTok live strategy and calendar.
🧋 Brand Ambassador & Store Presence
- Visit stores regularly to capture content, build internal relationships, and stay close to real customer experiences.
- Work with store teams to spotlight launches, community events, product moments & team stories.
- Support influencer visits, filming days, and collaborative content sessions in-store.
🎉 Influencers, Trends & Partnerships
- Identify emerging creators and collaborate with influencers to produce authentic, engaging content.
- Bring trend insights to the team weekly—suggesting playful, timely ideas for content.
👥 Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Digital team to ensure content aligns with CRM & Paid Social activity.
- Collaborate with our Brand team on Giveaways & influencer & partnership content.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Consistent output of high-quality, engaging social content.
- Growth in positive community interaction across comments, DMs & Lives.
- Increased visibility of store teams & in-store moments.
- Timely participation in trends & reactive moments.
- Increased transactions and new customers from social channels.
- Growth in engagement, followers & fans across our Organic Social channels.
- Consistent presence in stores, with regular content captured on location.
As our Social Media Coordinator, you’ll be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience creating social media content for a brand or as a creator.
- Confident appearing on camera & speaking naturally to an audience.
- Strong filming & editing skills using mobile-first tools (e.g., CapCut, TikTok editing, Lightroom).
- Ability to travel regularly to our stores & events.
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts & social-first storytelling.
- Exceptional copywriting & tone-of-voice skills.
- A natural communicator who loves building community & interacting with fans.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for Bird & Blend, our product, and our community.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during campaigns, launches & special events.
Desirable
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar editing tools.
- Experience working with influencers or creators.
- Previous work in retail, hospitality, events, or community-facing roles.
- Experience managing multi-channel content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube & Pinterest.
