Senior Content Manager / Senior Editorial Lead (12-month FTC) In the United Kingdom - London

Simon-Kucher is a global consultancy with more than 2,000 employees in 30 countries. Our sole focus is on unlocking better growth that drives measurable revenue and profit for our clients. We achieve this by optimizing every lever of their commercial strategy – product, price, innovation, marketing, and sales – based on deep insights into what customers want and value. With nearly 40 years of experience in monetization topics of all kinds, we are regarded as the world’s leading pricing and growth specialist.

We’re looking for a Senior Content Manager / Senior Editorial Lead to join the Corporate Creative & Content team within Simon-Kucher’s global Marketing Competence Centre. Reporting to the Corporate Creative & Content Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating our global content standards on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential to extend.

In this role you’ll act as the editor-in-chief for our global marketing content, coaching a team of writers, quality-controlling outputs, strengthening processes, and embedding modern content practices (including AI-enabled workflows) across the team. It’s an ideal role for an experienced editor or senior content leader who has worked in a complex, matrixed or professional services environment and thrives on improving content quality, team capability, and operational excellence.

How you will create impact
  • Lead editorial excellence by acting as the senior editor for global and divisional marketing content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, consistency, and strong storytelling across campaigns, reports, digital channels, and leadership material.
  • Develop and coach the content team, providing editorial guidance, structured feedback, and training to build capability and confidence across English- and German-speaking writers.
  • Oversee content workflows and quality control, managing resourcing, reviewing key materials, and ensuring timely delivery against priorities.
  • Strengthen content governance by refining tone-of-voice guidelines, editorial standards, templates, and approval processes across marketing and the business.
  • Embed modern content practices, integrating AI-enabled tools and new production approaches to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, digital, and campaign teams to ensure content aligns with brand, messaging frameworks, and campaign objectives.
  • Use SEO and performance insights to refine content focus, improve discoverability, and inform continuous improvement.
  • Support content creation for flagship projects as needed, applying expert editing and narrative shaping to high-impact materials.
Your profile
  • Significant experience as a senior editor, editorial lead, or content manager, ideally within professional services, publishing, or a matrixed B2B environment.
  • Exceptional editing and writing skills, with strong judgment and the ability to mentor and upskill others.
  • Experience leading and developing content teams and building editorial capability.
  • Comfortable operating in a partner-led, stakeholder-heavy environment, advising confidently on narrative and content decisions.
  • Hands‑on experience leveraging existing tools and integrating AI tools and workflows into content creation, editing, and optimization for long-term efficiency and quality gains.
  • Sound understanding of SEO principles, digital content formats, and performance analytics.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on editorial involvement.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; written and spoken German preferred.
What we offer
  • Work within a corporate culture defined by our entrepreneurial spirit, openness, and integrity.
  • Broaden your perspective with our extensive training curriculum and learning opportunities.
  • Push your development with support from our holistic feedback and development processes.
  • Hybrid work, mixing your work location between our London office and the option to remote work for an element of your time.
  • Enjoy our range of benefits and our focus on your wellbeing.
