We’re looking for a driven individual to join our SEO team, supporting our North American client base. In this role, you’ll work closely with both clients and our US SEO account team to resolve technical issues and identify growth opportunities. You’ll be part of the Global Web Experience Team, helping shape our technical SEO proposition in the US and supporting our New York office.

You should be comfortable working with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and translating technical requirements for developers. Strong project and client management skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.

• Audit and review websites to identify obstacles, opportunities, and technical challenges - provide consultation on how to improve clients websites and usability
• Develop and deliver technical roadmaps, scoping tasks, and estimating required hours for effective support
• Create clear, developer-friendly requirement documentation to ensure accurate implementation
• Promote and enforce best practices from Croud, W3C, and major search engines, ensuring client websites meet compliance and performance standards.
• Manage assigned projects through the Croudie Network, including writing detailed briefs and quality-checking returned work
• Proactively stay up to date on emerging technologies and market trends to inform internal strategy, support internal growth, and improve operational efficiency.
• Liaise directly with client stakeholders to ensure that the technical strategy and technical requirements are clear and can be implemented up to a high standard
• Provide timely support for ad-hoc technical queries from clients
• Contribute to the enhancement of internal training materials and documentation, including Croud Academy resources.

• Degree level education or equivalent / relevant work experience
• Demonstrable experience (ideally 2-3+ years) within a technical SEO role or SEO role with technical SEO involvement
• Agency experience desirable, but not essential
• Experience supporting multiple clients and leading on their technical SEO projects
• Experience with data analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.
• Experience using tools for Core Web Vitals and pages speed such as PageSpeed Insights, Chrome DevTools, and Lighthouse as well as WebPageTest
• Strong interest in / passion for digital marketing and / or SEO
• Strong interest in front-end development and coding / markup
• Strong Microsoft Office and / or Gsuite (Google) skills which must include Excel / Sheets, Word / Docs, and PowerPoint / Slides
• Proficiency in data entry, working with and managing numbers / data
• Proven track record of working to and meeting deadlines
• Proven time management skills and ability to manage tasks simultaneously
• Impeccable attention to detail
• A mathematical and analytical mind
• Ability to work with remote team members autonomously with minimal supervision
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Highly organised and an ability to multitask
• Strong communication, organisation, and presentation skills
• Experience of working in teams to meet a common goal

Croud operates a hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days a week based in our Shrewsbury office and the remaining days from home if you wish.

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
