As a result of growing demands for our client's award-winning range of machines we have a number of exciting design roles for young enthusiastic engineers. • Reporting to the Engineering Manager or Principal Engineer you will perform design and draughting duties using Siemens Unigraphics NX and TeamCenter.
• You will release engineering data and other engineering documentation as well as :
• Investigation and problem solving.
• Co‑ordination with other functional areas : Test & Development, Assembly, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Materials.
• Liaison with suppliers on component specification and fit for purpose - checking design meets the brief and internal and external legislative requirements and documenting compliance where necessary.

• You will a have a relevant qualification in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Experience of working with a 3D CAD package.
• Recent graduate or a junior engineer with some industry experience or placement experience.
• You must be literate, numerate and articulate, able to take direction and work as part of a team.
• You will have interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate and work with people outside the engineering functional area and with external suppliers.
• Work within a team, utilising own ideas and initiative to drive design solutions.
• You will be able to apply your academic abilities to the solution of practical engineering problems.
• You will need a sense of urgency, the ability to take ownership of assigned work and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
