A mechanical and electrical services company in Walsall is looking for a CAD Technician to use CAD software like Solidworks and Autodesk for designing 2D and 3D models. This role includes collaborating with project and engineering teams, creating detailed technical drawings, and conducting site surveys. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, IT literacy in design, and effective communication abilities, with a flexible attitude towards decision-making. Competitive salary offered up to £35,000.
Qualifications
- Must be well organized and proficient in design software.
- Ability to create and read technical drawings is crucial.
- A flexible approach to making changes at short notice is required.
Responsabilités
- Create designs in 2D and 3D using various CAD software.
- Produce detailed technical drawings and BOMs for purchasing.
- Conduct site surveys to gather information for designs.
