Qualifications

• Oversee a crew and can communicate with clients in a professional manner
• Candidates must have experience working around underground utilities installing wet utilities and earthwork.
• Minimum 3-5 years of continuous construction project experience operating utility construction equipment
• Read and write in English
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 21, have a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Install new wet utilities both mains and services.
• Shoot grade and can utilize laser equipment.
• Ability to read and understand plans and drawings.
• Operates various light to heavy equipment, including but not limited to backhoes, excavators, track hoes, loaders and skids.
• Haul and move equipment from project to project
• All underground construction phases include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weight of construction materials and equipment
• Performs pre-trip inspections; monitors and reports on the status of vehicle repairs and safety-related issues, keeps equipment clean
• Assists with setting up work sites and ensuring proper traffic and safety procedures have been followed
• Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies
• Other duties as assigned
