This is a hands-on role suitable for an individual who can work independently and proactively. The candidate should be conscientious, reliable, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as this is a client-facing position. The role involves producing quotes for additional works by obtaining material costs and describing the required tasks.

A Mobile Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is required to carry out PPM and Reactive Activities across various commercial premises. Candidates should ideally be located in the relevant area and have Commercial Experience. The role involves assisting with reactive and PPM tasks, with some installation work expected. The core focus is on maintenance.

The role primarily requires AC/HVAC skills, with a strong multi-skilled background and experience in Building Services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform reactive maintenance repairs across various contracts.
• Assess and order parts and equipment needed for tasks.
• Work according to recognized industry standards.
• Participate in flexible working hours and out-of-hours emergency cover as required.
• Undertake training, including health and safety courses and trade development, to maintain professional qualifications.
• Assist other trades as needed.
• Update and close completed tasks on CAFM System.
• Maintain engineering standards for efficient operation and reliability of plant.
• Adhere to company QA and site procedures.
• Follow health and safety procedures for both the client and company.
• Inspect services and proactively address call outs/repairs.
• Attend emergencies outside normal hours.
• Maintain company tools in safe working condition.
• Complete electrical testing and documentation for works.
• Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments as necessary.

Experience & Qualifications:

• NVQ 3 in Servicing and Maintaining Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
• NVQ 3 in Installing and Commissioning Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
• NVQ 3 Diploma in Servicing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems
• NVQ 3 in Installing and Commissioning Refrigeration Systems
• C&G 2079 F GAS and ODS Regulations: Category 4
• Full UK Driving License
• Knowledge of building fabric and basic fabric reactive repairs
• Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations
• Ability to work independently
• Presentable appearance
• Availability for call outs
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency with smartphones and PDAs
• Team-oriented and self-motivated
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings
