Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking skilled HGV Technicians/Mechanics to join a well-established organization in Chorley. This permanent position offers a competitive hourly rate of £19-£21, with overtime at an enhanced rate. Responsibilities include conducting Pre-MOT inspections, performing vehicle maintenance, and diagnosing faults. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and a minimum of 3 years of experience. Benefits include 26 days of holiday, a pension scheme, and training opportunities.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in an HGV workshop.
- Full car driving licence is required.
- HGV licence is desirable.
- IRTEC or HGV inspection qualification is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Pre-MOT inspections and repair any defects.
- Perform vehicle inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs to DVSA standards.
- Diagnose faults accurately and report findings.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce vehicle downtime.
