A leading staffing agency is currently seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician in Swindon. This role involves providing Electrical/Mechanical support in a clean room environment and ensuring equipment reliability through maintenance and proactive problem-solving. Candidates must have experience in medium to high volume manufacturing, particularly in medical devices or pharmaceuticals. Total salary is £47,368 per annum including shift allowance. Strong communication and technical skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Experience within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment is essential.
• Understanding of automated assembly processes is required.
• Experience in problem solving and fault finding on machines is critical.

Responsibilities

• Provide Electrical/Mechanical support to manufacturing processes.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance programs.
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and monitor performance.

Skills

Experience within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment

Understanding of high-speed automated assembly processes

Experience of problem solving and fault finding on manufacturing machines

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization

Computer literate – Microsoft Office
