An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated CAD Technician to join a leading chartered surveying practice working with housing associations, local authorities, education providers, and health & leisure organisations across London and the South. This established chartered surveying practice delivers a variety of projects ranging from £200k refurbishments to multi‑million‑pound new builds, working largely within the social housing sector while also supporting high‑profile clients at locations such as the Royal Albert Hall. With the practice actively expanding into new service areas and investing in the next generation of building surveyors and technical staff, they are now seeking a CAD Technician to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
• Interpret drawings.
• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers and project managers.
• Attend site visits to meet with building surveyors at project locations.
• Travel to sites across London and the South as required.

Qualifications

• Experience using AutoCAD, ideally within the construction sector.
• Knowledge of construction.
• Valid UK driver’s licence.
• Commutable distance to the office in Orpington.
