Job summary

A leading waste management company in Northwich is looking for an Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Technician to join their Maintenance Team. This role involves performing maintenance on a variety of EC&I assets and supporting commissioning activities at the facility. Candidates should have a relevant technical qualification, significant maintenance experience, and practical knowledge of process plants. Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a heavy engineering environment.
• Practical knowledge of process plant equipment.
• Experience with High-Voltage equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, controls and instrumentation assets.
• Fault finding and maintaining electrical systems.
• Calibrating instrumentation.
• Supervising contractors and maintaining maintenance records.

Skills

Maintenance experience with motors and switchgear

Knowledge of instrumentation (flow, level, pressure, temperature)

Experience with control systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC)

High-Voltage equipment experience

Education

NVQ / ONC / HNC in Electrical, Control or Instrumentation engineering

Recognised Electrical / C&I apprenticeship
