As a Disability Assessor you will work autonomously to assess the cases of claimants who are applying for Work Capability (WCA), as part of the DWP's Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). The funding helps support individuals financially who are unable to work, or to live as much of an independent life as possible. You will be completing assessments with individuals who have an extremely broad range of health conditions, and you may conduct some assessments remotely.

• Use your clinical experience to work with people who have a diverse range of health conditions, to understand how their disability affects daily life.
• Work within office and home settings to complete detailed, meaningful, and respectful assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face.
• Interpret medical evidence and collate findings into a comprehensive report to support DWP decision-making.

• At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience; UK experience essential.
