Working within our warehouse operation to fulfil online orders including picking, packing, preparing for onward delivery.

40 hrs/wk, 5 days out of 7.

This role is based within our Hailsham E-Commerce team processing and dispatching online orders received via our website.

A full job description is available on request, but to outline your key responsibilities as an Online Order Picker, you’ll be:

• Using our IT system to confirm your pick list, then working through it to pick the customer order, package it and print the delivery label and prepare the package for courier collection and onward home delivery.
• Working to individual 'pick rate' targets, approx 40 per day and team targets for the department.
• 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days (so weekend cover included on a rota basis)

To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following skills, experience and qualities:

• Some experience in a similar warehouse / order picker type role would be advantageous
• Able to work at pace and to meet productivity targets
• Good attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of the items picked for the order, and accuracy when printing / fixing the label so the right customer gets the products they're expecting.
• Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team as well as managing their own workload.
• Computer literate, able to use company systems (training given)
