In House Legal Counsel - International Organisation - Tech/Telco

Our client is seeking a lawyer or contracts specialist to manage customer, vendor, and business partner contracts. The role reports to a Senior stakeholder and General Counsel.

The ideal candidate will work effectively with colleagues and clients worldwide in a borderless environment.

The position is primarily remote, but occasional travel to meetings locally and internationally may be required.

• Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts.
• Qualified lawyer (Common Law Jurisdiction) with 3+ years of post-qualification experience.

• Extensive experience advising and negotiating various commercial contracts.
• Experience with international contracts and contracts governed by foreign laws.
• Strong negotiation skills, particularly for high-value contracts.
• Significant experience working within or for a software or IT company (Essential).
• Experience with software licensing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS contracts (Essential).
• Ability to produce and present reports to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of global data protection laws, including EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA.
• Willingness to travel as needed to clients and offices in the UK or abroad.

This role is UK-based and primarily remote.
