A community advocacy organization in Exeter is seeking a Secure & Complex Services Advocate to support vulnerable adults. The role involves providing persuasive representations, advocating for clients' needs, and ensuring confidentiality. Applicants should have experience in health or social care settings, excellent communication skills, and a full UK driving licence. This part-time position offers a salary of £9,696.96 (£24,242.40 full-time equivalent) with various benefits.
Secure & Complex Services Advocate – Exeter. Join our Advocacy department to support vulnerable adults with profound and multiple needs, advocate on their behalf, and ensure their voices are heard while upholding their rights. You will provide persuasive verbal and written representations, work in partnership with clients and professionals, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality. You will work independently with strong time management skills.
Hours of Work: Part-time, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
Location: Office based – The Pinhoe Surgery Exeter. Applicants must live within the area, have a full UK driving licence and access to their own transport.
Salary: Starting salary £9,696.96 (full-time equivalent £24,242.40 per annum)
