A global leader in surface analysis instrumentation seeks a Customer Support Service Engineer to join the team in Manchester. This role involves installing upgrades and providing technical support for complex instrumentation, requiring frequent travel (approx. 50%) across Europe. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electronics, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering, along with problem-solving and strong customer service skills. A passion for travel and customer interaction is essential for this position.
Kratos Analytical are global leaders in surface analysis instrumentation, our XPS systems are installed in leading University’s and Corporate research centres around the world working on new materials challenges as diverse as development of new biomaterials, carbon capture to achieve net zero targets and EV battery development.
An opportunity exists to join our Customer Support Team at our Manchester HQ as a Customer Support Service Engineer with frequent travel (~50%) to continental Europe, occasionally further afield. The role would suit a customer facing candidate, comfortable with the operation and maintenance of complex instrumentation and a passion for travel.
Note - On successful completion of probation, a frequent traveller allowance will be added to your salary.
