Job summary
A leading financial services company in London is seeking a new accountant to assist with the non-technical close process and maintain core financial processes. Ideal candidates will be newly qualified accountants with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in Excel. This role offers a dynamic environment and opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications
- Finalist or newly Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- 2 years experience within the financial services industry.
- Good understanding of non-technical finance allocation processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Expenses Controller with the non-technical close process.
- Maintain the Expenses core process including invoice and expense recording.
- Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast.
- Provide support for cost centre managers and reporting.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Assist the Expenses Controller to complete the non-technical close process for the Company
- Maintains the Expenses core process including: invoice and expense recording, fixed asset register, accruals and prepayments
- Prepares annual budget and quarterly forecast including co-ordination of meetings with cost centre managers
- Provides support for cost centre managers including cost centre reporting
Qualifications required:
- Finalist or newly Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Experience required:
- 2 years experience within the financial services industry
- Good understanding of non-technical finance allocation processes
- Proficiency with Excel, including Sumifs, Vlookups and pivot tables
