The CBS Sports Social Media team creates and distributes all content posted from CBS Sports, CBS Sports Network, and CBS Sports Digital's social media channels. In a sports media landscape that's cluttered with noise, we take pride in building creative concepts that cut through with our audience and represent the values of our brand.

With our rights acquisition of numerous soccer properties, CBS Sports is building a team to lead our coverage of soccer on social media.

As a Social Media Producer for CBS Sports Golazo, you’ll be on the front lines of how we connect with football fans around the world - through sharp, social-first video and graphics.

This is a hands-on video editing, design and social publishing role. You’ll primarily be cutting shortform content in Adobe Premiere, publishing real-time clips from live matches and studio shows, and shaping original video that brings football stories to life. From TikTok to Instagram to YouTube, you should know how to craft content that feels native to social media.

We’re looking for someone who’s football-obsessed and fluent in both the men’s and women’s game. Someone who watches everything from Champions League to WSL and has a strong editorial instinct for what resonates with fans.

If you're passionate about storytelling, thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, know how to turn football’s biggest moments into shareable content, and have the creative skills to make it happen, this role is for you.

• Edit and publish real-time shortform video from studio shows, live matches and podcasts.
• Create social-first video content tailored for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, among other social channels.
• Identify and capitalise on trending stories and impactful moments to drive engagement and conversation.
• Turn around quick, engaging edits in Premiere, often under tight deadlines.
• Capture behind-the-scenes and on-site content with CBS Sports talent, helping bring fans closer to our coverage.
• Use graphic templates in Photoshop to enhance storytelling.
• Work alongside social producers to ideate and create editorial and promotional content from scratch.
  

• 1-3 years of experience managing branded social media accounts with a focus on football content.
• Confident in Adobe Premiere (non-negotiable) and comfortable using Photoshop.
• A deep passion for global football — across both the men’s and women’s game.
• Experience creating and publishing content across all major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter/X) — deep understanding of YouTube is a bonus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and react quickly to fast-moving football news cycles.
• Strong writing skills with a focus on detail and grammar.
• Keen attention to detail in pacing, visuals, and storytelling.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and coordination skills, particularly in working with talent and teammates.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to cover primetime matches.
