As a Band 6 practitioner, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational day-to-day management of the neurosurgical theatres and supporting junior staff members. You should have a good working knowledge of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures.
The Trust is a 24-hour major trauma centre. Successful applicants for the Team Leader position will be expected to participate in the on-call and weekend rota. Scrub Practitioners will be expected to participate in the 7-day service, working shifts to meet service demand.

Preference will be given to: internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon, who can demonstrate recent relevant experience as per the Person Specification.
You will take daily responsibility and provide professional leadership for your designated theatre team, demonstrating effective communication, resource management, and maintaining standards of care in compliance with national and local policies and procedures.
