A regional NHS trust in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced professional to manage the mental health care of older adults. This role involves care coordination, conducting assessments, and providing evidence-based mental health nursing care in the community. Ideal candidates have strong experience in mental health with older adults and effective communication skills. The role which involves managing a caseload of older adults with mental health needs, acting as a care coordinator, and providing specialist, evidence-based care. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, liaising with other professionals, and supporting service users and their carers in the community, while also supervising junior staff and potentially taking on leadership duties.,
