About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Set Up Swiss to join our team at our facility in Hatfield, PA. As a CNC Machinist Set Up Swiss, you will be responsible for operating and setting up CNC Swiss lathes, specifically working with machine brands such as Star and Tsugami. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment and contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality precision parts.

• Perform machine setups for production runs on CNC Swiss lathes


• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications


• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments


• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances


• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments


• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production


• Maintain a clean and organized work area


• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies

• Prior experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss lathes


• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings


• Strong knowledge of machine setups for production runs


• Familiarity with machine brands such as Star and Tsugami


• Ability to select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues


• Good communication and teamwork abilities


• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
