Overview

CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

Location: Dudley

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour - Depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:15pm / Friday 7:30 to 12:00

Responsibilities
  • Setting, programming, and operating a range of CNC Milling machines.
  • Machines include a brand-new Doosan NH400 Horizontal Twin Pallet, Horizontal Bridgeport Twin Pallet Machine, and Cincinnati Vertical Milling Machines with 4th Axis.
  • Using CAD/CAM software (Dolphin) when required.
  • Manufacturing precision and bearing components to tight tolerances.
  • Working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work meets quality standards.
  • Promoting good housekeeping and maintaining an efficient, safe workspace.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in CNC Milling, including setting and basic programming on Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to set tools, edit programs, and confidently understand G & M codes.
  • Experience using CAD/CAM software (not essential but advantageous).
  • Ability to self-inspect using micrometers, verniers, and depth gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
