A leading insurance firm in the City of London is seeking a (Senior) Treaty Technician to manage treaty accounts and documentation. Responsibilities include processing claims, maintaining reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong insurance background, preferably with Cert CII qualifications, and have experience in a technical role related to treaties. This role offers an opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic environment.
Qualificações
- Experience in insurance, ideally related to treaties.
- Cert CII qualifications or equivalent technical experience.
- Strong customer service skills and market knowledge.
Responsabilidades
- Process treaty accounts and claims accurately.
- Produce and manage documentation for placements.
- Ensure timely reconciliation and audit-ready files.
- Monitor premium payments and resolve outstanding balances.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and company procedures.
Conhecimentos
- Process treaty accounts, premiums, and claims accurately and on time.
- Produce, review, and manage documentation throughout the placement cycle.
- Maintain reconciliations, technical accounts, and audit‑ready files.
- Generate client and market accounting documents and handle premium processing systems.
- Monitor premium payments, pursue outstanding balances, and support credit control.
- Provide clear communication and resolve internal/external queries.
- Produce management information and maintain reporting spreadsheets.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company procedures.
- Uphold professional standards and take responsibility for ongoing learning.
- Market experience with a broker, underwriter or bureau
- Technical insurance to Cert CII, or equivalent experience
- Client servicing
- Experience in a Technical role specificallt TREATY - not line specific
