Job summary
A prestigious educational institution in the East Midlands is seeking an Assistant Chef to join their catering team. The role involves preparing and serving nutritious meals, supporting various catering operations, and ensuring high standards of food quality. Contract Type : Permanent
Hours of work : 42 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, term time only, plus an additional 200 Enterprise hours to be worked outside of term time.
Salary : £14.42 per hour

You’ll play a key role in preparing and serving fresh, nutritious, and imaginative dishes that meet the needs of our pupils, staff, and visitors - all while maintaining high standards of quality and working within budget parameters.
Flexibility is essential, as the role involves supporting a variety of catering operations across the School - including the Prep School, boarding houses, and outdoor events.
