Job summary
A prominent healthcare organization in Lichfield is seeking a qualified Community Mental Health Nurse for the Older Adults Team. This role involves delivering specialized assessments and interventions for older adults with mental health conditions and dementia. Responsibilities include developing and implementing care plans while supporting service users in the community. The role requires resilience and flexibility while working a part-time schedule of 18.75 hours per week. Candidates should be NMC registered and possess relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Experience of delivering therapeutic interventions to older adults and their carers.
- Experience working with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
- Active and working on the NMC register.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to assessment and planning for service users.
- Promote service-users' wellbeing in the community.
- Make clinical judgements and coordinate care plans under supervision.
