A healthcare practice in Burnley is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join their friendly team. The role involves delivering nursing treatments, supporting patients with minor ailments, and conducting health screenings. Candidates should hold a registered nursing qualification with NMC registration and have previous experience in a GP setting. Responsibilities include coordinating nursing services, participating in meetings to improve patient care, and ensuring high standards of clinical safety.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly surgery. You will be responsible for assisting medical personnel in the care of our practice patients, including treatment, preventative care, screening and patient education.
Experience working in primary care is preferred.

Qualified Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
GP Surgery experience.
Chronic Disease Management (Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Hypertension, CVD, Stroke/TIA).
Cytology.
Immunisations (incl. Children, Flu, Shingles, Travel).
Blood Pressure.
ECG.
Urine Test.
Pill Checks.
