Job summary
A logistics company in Southend-on-Sea is seeking drivers to deliver large goods including furniture and appliances. Candidates must be physically fit, have a valid UK driving license with limited points, and complete a DBS check after employment. This role involves assisting in loading and unloading, as well as adhering to a set shift schedule. Competitive pay rate of £14.00 per hour offered.

Responsibilities
- Deliver large goods with a Driver’s mate to residential properties.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods safely.
Skills
This role involves working with a Drivers mate to deliver large goods to residential properties then back to store. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV's, furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc.
Due to the weight of the products, you are delivering you MUST be physically fit.
- Deliver large goods with a Driver’s mate to residential properties and return to the store.
- Assist with loading and unloading as required and ensure goods are delivered safely.
Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment, with a subsequent induction day. The company operate 7 days a week, you will be offered a 5- or 6-day rota. Weekend work can be involved. Shift timings are 9 am start, 4 PM finish with possible overtime offered.
Pay rate - £14.00 start rate per hour. We will happily accept newly qualified drivers. You must have a valid UK License, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions. Will also need to have a DBS check completed once employed. Probation will be a 6 month period.
