We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Chef de Partie to join a busy daytime café kitchen. You will be responsible for running a section of the kitchen, supporting the preparation of fresh, high-quality dishes, and ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the day.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
Support the Head Chef / Café Manager with menu preparation and daily service delivery.
Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety requirements.
Keep your section organised, clean, and fully stocked during service.
Assist with stock control, deliveries, and minimising food waste.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a friendly, efficient, customer-focused service.
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to step up.
Knowledge of daytime café menus, including breakfast, brunch, light bites, and baked goods.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Passion for fresh, seasonal food with excellent attention to detail.
Flexibility to work part-time daytime shifts, including weekends.
Food hygiene certification preferred, but not essential.
