A recruitment agency is seeking a Mobile HGV Technician in Guildford. This permanent position offers £20.50-£23.50 per hour and involves hours that can vary significantly. HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
£20.50-£23.50 per hour
Contracted hours 42.5 hrs per week. Typically 45 to 50+ hours per week are available (with some flexibility required on working hours).
Time and a half paid after 8.5 hours a day. Double time after 10.5 hours a day and weekend work.

We are looking for a Mobile HGV Technician / Engineer to join our client, a fast growing team of Engineers / Technicians in Guilford. You will be allocated a service van that you can take to and from your residence, assuming you live within a reasonable distance of our workshop.

- Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
- Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.
- Valid Driving License
- HGV repair: 10 years (required)
- 7.5T or above. (required)
Applicants must have extensive experience in HGV repairs with excellent diagnostic, repair and customer facing skills.
