Looking for a secure, hands-on field role in the energy sector? This is a great opportunity to join a growing team supporting smart meter maintenance, field engineeringand energy network performance across London and East Anglia.

This role is focused on fault-finding and smart meter troubleshooting, no installation work. Full training is provided, making it ideal for anyone looking to start or progress a career in utilities, smart metering or field engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair smart meter faults
  • Carry out SIM swaps, aerial replacements and comms hub resets
  • Restore no-read / no-data smart meters to full functionality
  • Replace IHDs, backup cells and comms modules
  • Complete HAN/WAN testing and improve signal strength
  • Update job information on a handheld device (PDA)
  • Deliver excellent customer service during field visits
About You
  • Experience in a field-based or customer-facing role
  • Confident using mobile technology and handheld devices
  • Able to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
