Job summary
A well-established automotive group seeks a Vehicle Technician in Bristol. You'll provide high-quality servicing and maintenance while benefiting from full manufacturer training in a modern workshop. Ideal candidates have a Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance, a valid UK driving licence, and a willingness to develop technical skills. - A full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is desired but not essential.
- Diagnostic skills with the ability to use modern diagnostic equipment.
- Experience working with hybrid and electric vehicles desirable.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects.
- Performing routine inspections in line with manufacturer checklists.
- Continuously developing your technical knowledge.
- Maximising productivity in the workshop.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Salary: From £28k (qualification/experience dependent)

Hours: 08:30-17:00 Mon-Fri, 08:30-14:00 1 in 3 weekends

- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards
- Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, both in the workshop and on road tests
- Performing routine inspections in line with manufacturer checklists and specific layouts to ensure all key components are reviewed
- Continuously developing your technical knowledge and staying up to date with brand standards
- Maximising productivity by making the most of workshop facilities and processes
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the full satisfaction of customers
