Job summary
A specialist automotive recruitment consultancy is looking for a Vehicle Technician in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have experience in a main dealer, maintain high service standards, and communicate effectively. Join a supportive workshop environment from Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.
Qualifications
- Experience within a main dealer setting as a Vehicle Technician is essential.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork.
- A full UK Driving Licence is required for the role.

- Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles.
- Delivering high customer service levels for loyalty.
- Communicating effectively with the Service Reception team.

Our client, a Motor Trade main dealer group in the Cambridge area, is on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. If you hold the right experience – this could be your next role!
- Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles to excellent standards.
- Delivering exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
- Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
- Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
- Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes.
- Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail.
- Providing your technical expert opinion to customers.
- Experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- MOT Qualified preferred.
