Candidates should have 8+ years of software engineering experience, proficient in Python and C++, with experience in data processing and CAD platforms. As a Software Development Engineer at Autodesk Research, you will work side-by-side with world‑class researchers and engineers to build new ML‑powered product features that help our customers imagine, design, and make a better world. You are a software engineer who is passionate about solving problems and building things. Your skills span across data processing, computational geometry and CAD, with a software engineering base. You are excited to collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to build AI features in Autodesk products. You are comfortable working at the intersection of research and product.
You will report to an Engineering Manager in Autodesk Research.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
