Part-Time Finance Administrator (Xero) – Flexible Hours
Job summary
A prominent private school in Luton is seeking a part-time Finance Administrator to oversee day-to-day finance operations. You will manage bookkeeping in Xero, handle pupil fee billing, and assist in budget preparation. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This flexible role offers competitive pay between £12.50 and £13.00 per hour along with benefits such as a standard pension and holiday allowance.

- Experience in bookkeeping and accounting for at least 2 years.
- Proficiency in Xero software for bookkeeping tasks.
- Ability to manage confidential information discretely.
Responsibilities
- Maintain purchase/sales ledgers and keep records up to date.
- Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations and clear discrepancies.
- Prepare payment runs and manage supplier queries.
- Raise termly/annual fee invoices in Xero.
- Support budget preparation and maintain organized digital files.
