Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Senior Backend Developer to develop scalable backend systems, build secure APIs, and ensure high system performance and reliability within a dynamic technology team in Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs to deliver scalable application functionality
  • Build secure server-side applications that protect data integrity and user privacy in compliance with security best practices
  • Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases to improve data access speed and storage efficiency
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and data security measures to safeguard backend systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain high system availability and reliability
  • Collaborate with Frontend Engineers, DevOps, QA, and Product teams to deliver integrated and cohesive software solutions
  • Conduct code reviews and produce technical documentation to ensure code quality and facilitate knowledge sharing
  • Monitor system performance continuously and implement improvements to enhance reliability and scalability
  • Support deployment and CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth, frequent, and automated software releases
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
