A leading provider in Technology, Civil Engineering, Design and Telecommunications is seeking a Supply Chain Manager/Buyer for their Yorkshire office. The role encompasses purchasing, stock management, and supplier relations, offering a competitive salary and clear career advancement in a supportive environment.

Our Client who is a leading provider of Technology, Civil Engineering, Design and Telecommunications services with the Highways sector are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager/Buyer to join the at there Yorkshire office.
The Role
- Building and maintaining relationships with Suppliers and Subcontractors
- Purchasing of materials, equipment and services
- Coordinating delivery of materials and equipment
- Responsible for the stock management
- Managing the on and off hire of plant whilst maintaining appropriate levels of plant
- Negotiating the best price on goods and services
- Work with the Quality Manager to ensure the services and goods provided are compliant
- Maintaining the Supplier Database
Candidate Requirements
- Good communicator with external and internal stakeholders
- Experience in negotiating
- Strongadministration
- Adaptability to work on multiple activities simultaneously
- Experience of MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of the Highways /Construction Sector
