Job summary
A maritime charity in the UK is offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Apprentice. The role will involve providing technical support to staff and undergoing a structured apprenticeship program over two years. Candidates should have a keen interest in IT and hold three level 2 qualifications including English and mathematics. Do you have a keen interest in IT or Technology or do you relish the challenge of solving technical problems?
We are seeking a highly motivated person for a Level 3 IT Apprenticeship lasting up to two years.
Applications are invited to join the IT team at Trinity House as an IT Apprentice. The role is to train and develop the required skills to help provide support to all of the Trinity House staff across an interesting mix of technology products and systems. On‑the‑job training will be provided for a wide range of systems along with a structured learning and development plan.
You will be enrolled with a training provider on a Level 3 apprenticeship covering a Digital Support Technician pathway or similar.
During your apprenticeship you will be part of the team providing first and selected second‑line support and carrying out daily procedures, as required. Occasional supervised travel to other sites within the UK and some overtime may be required.
- Three level 2 qualifications (or equivalent) including English and mathematics.
- Strong willingness to learn.
- Demonstrable keen interest in IT or a technology‑related subject/discipline.
