The Company

My client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers within its field of specialist metal alloys and associated products. The UK site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day‑to‑day engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on several fast moving lines, driven by PLC automated machinery. The ideal candidate will come from a medium to heavy engineering background, but this is by no means a necessity and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with a mechanical bias, and have manufacturing experience. You will also be involved in the maintenance of vacuum pump furnaces and steel forming machinery, overhead cranes, general mechanical work on pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes and other manufacturing heavy machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.

If you are interested in this role, please send a copy of your current CV using the details provided, interviews will be held locally and the company is looking to recruit this role as soon as possible.
