A local veterinary practice in Manchester is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse. This full-time role requires undertaking general nursing duties and participating in the training of junior staff. The position offers a supportive environment, competitive salary up to £30,000 DOE, and generous benefits including CPD allowance and private medical insurance.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Mount Road Vets!
In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking general nursing duties within the practice, including nurse appointments. You will participate in the admission and discharge process of patients, ensuring accuracy is maintained at all times. Administering treatments such as injections, medications, fluid therapy, and dressings, as well as dispensing medication as directed by the veterinary surgeon. Maintaining accurate client and patient records is essential, as well as ensuring effective stock rotation and replenishment when required. Additionally, you will play an active role in the training and development of veterinary nurses and animal care/kennel assistants.

This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week spread over 4 or 5 days. Working hours will be between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm. The role includes a 1 in 4 Saturday rota, with no out-of-hours or on-call duties.
