An independent veterinary practice in South Yorkshire is seeking a Vet with 1-5 years of experience. FAMILY RUN, NON –CORPORATE, INDEPENDENT, PRACTICE

Ideal role for 1 year to 5 year approximately qualified Vet with the desire to expand their range of both Medical and Surgical skills. If you would enjoy working with a great group of 14 enthusiastic Vets (4 with Certificates) where everyone is really helpful and willing to teach and learn from each other - then join the Abbey Team for great support.

With a very varied range of 20-30 different surgical / procedures per day and 2 hours operating every day for every Vet you will not be bored.

Our friendly and highly skilled nursing team of 14 VN’s and 5 Auxiliary nurses provide tremendous skills giving all our vets great support.

To ensure that there is always somebody to help and advise all the operating and hospitalised cases are at our fully equipped Main Centre with 5 operating theatres.

• We have 7 consulting Branches all air conditioned (like the Main Centre) – (lovely in the summer!)
• Plus an in house Hydrotherapy / Physio Centre.
• An Estate Car is provided for work and leisure use.
• 6 weeks holidays plus all but one Bank Holiday.
• Alternate 4 and 5 day weeks.
• Vet Defence covered.
• £3000 CPD allowance.
• No Night Emergencies
• You can also enjoy a set 2 hour lunch break- every day.

We are based in Barnsley, Near Sheffield and the beautiful Pennines and one hour approximately from 5 airports. Great schools and great housing. Fully furnished Accommodation is available.

To make the most of this exciting full time permanent role you will need a minimum of 1-5 years recent UK experience in SA practice with a good level of basic surgical skills.
