A youth charity organization in Oxford seeks a Progression Coach to inspire young individuals towards independent living. The role involves managing coaching sessions, supporting emotional and social resilience, and ensuring safeguarding practices. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, strong IT skills, and a commitment to youth development values. Flexibility and creativity are highly valued in this supportive environment.
Progression Coaches inspire young people to step outside their comfort zone, develop new skills and behaviours, and move towards independent living. Using youth work and trauma-informed approaches, you will:
Safeguarding children, young people and adults is everyone's responsibility. You will undertake appropriate training, DBS checks and supervision, ensuring all concerns are addressed in line with Oxfordshire Youth policies.
