Location: Field based role in Oxfordshire, East Midlands and West Midlands

Responsibilities
  • As a Partner Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of training provider and employer partners. Acting as the primary point of contact, you’ll build strong, lasting relationships that drive engagement, satisfaction, and commercial growth.
  • You will use data-driven insights to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure our partners have the tools and support they need to succeed.
  • Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in strengthening AAT’s presence and impact across the UK.

Major objectives

  • Managing the full partner lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a positive and productive experience.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across your portfolio.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and providing regular reporting on engagement, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks and supporting partners at risk of withdrawal.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to support cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Representing AAT at local events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings to drive brand advocacy.
  • Developing long-term account plans and identifying opportunities for upselling and expansion.
  • Staying informed on market trends, competitor activity, and changes in the education and professional development sectors.
Qualifications
  • Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
  • A customer-centric mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in a client-facing role, ideally within the education or professional services sector.
  • Financial acumen and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of the education and training sector, and ideally the funding/apprenticeship landscape.
  • Hold a valid UK Driving license and access to suitable car for regional travel.
  • Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
