Job Description
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational objectives.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Manage and develop 2 members of staff.
- Lead cost‑saving initiatives and improve financial efficiency.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
- Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
- Solid understanding of industry financial practices – ideally within retail, FMCG, logistics but not essential.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven track record of delivering financial insights to drive business performance.
